Alex Smith, the first woman to head the College National Republican Committee, somehow failed to make the guest-list for a recent White House youth summit.

However, she did get a very warm reception from CNBC’s Larry Kudlow during an interview on The Kudlow Report.

President Obama held an event Wednesday to explain Obamacare to America’s youth. In 2008 and 2012 President Obama won a large portion of America’s youth vote, but recent polls show that same group is becoming growingly unsatisfied with the President.

Alex Smith, National Chair of College Republicans, told CNBC’s Larry Kudlow, “that this is a generation that especially values authenticity, and the president did not display that when he told the American people if they liked their plan they could keep it. If they liked their doctor they could keep it. That’s sort of the next wave of disappointments coming in this whole health care rollout. Young people recognize that.”
