It’s unknown at this point if this is some type of hoax, but the flyers have shown up on multiple campuses.

UMass not only college targeted with racist, anti-Semitic flyers; Smith, Northeastern, Princeton among others

The University of Massachusetts was not alone in receiving the “hate-filled, racist and anti-Semitic flyer” that started printing out of printers and fax machines at locations around campus Thursday.

The flyers turned out in printers at Smith College in Northampton, Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, as well as Northeastern University in Boston, DePaul University in Chicago, Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, and the University of Southern California, said Robert Trestan, executive director of the New England Anti-Defamation League.

UMass Amherst Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy in an email to the UMass community reported that UMass police and information technology officials are investigating the occurrence as an “information security incident.”

“The flyer, which includes the web address of an organization identified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, appears to have been transmitted from an off-campus location,” Subbaswamy said.
