This is what happens when someone pretends to be a professor. Leigh Guidry from The Town Talk reports.

Man posing as professor arrested at Louisiana College

A Pineville man was arrested Wednesday while “trying to teach a class” at Louisiana College.

The man, later identified as Tyrone Teasley, 48, of 108 Hickory Road, entered a classroom on the campus of the private Baptist school at about 10 a.m. and attempted to assume the role of professor 10 minutes before class was scheduled to begin, according to a release posted on LC’s website.

A student’s Facebook post said the man entered her personal fitness class on the second day of the spring semester, asking about basketball and the first president. Pictures show him wearing a red flannel shirt, non-matching pajama pants and orange sandals. She said the students thought it was a joke until he began yelling and “cussing” at a student who answered one of his questions.

A male student left the classroom and contacted LC Police Chief Dwayne Rogers and “within minutes” Teasley was apprehended, according to reports. The Facebook post said Teasley chased after the male student. The Pineville Police Department was contacted at 10:26 a.m. with a report of someone causing a disturbance in a classroom at H.O. West Field House on the LC campus, according to a PPD news release.
