If you’re a college student in DC, you could help them out as an intern next Fall but you better get a move on if you’re interested, the deadline is approaching fast.

Deadline Looms For College Fix Fall Internship Applications

During the Fall of 2013, the Student Free Press Association/The College Fix plans to offer paid internships at a Washington, D.C.-based media organization. The deadline to apply is June 30.

That’s less than a week away!

Who is eligible?

The internship is open to all SFPA members, who have also liked this site on Facebook. (Not a member? Join here. It’s free!) Recent college graduates are eligible.

Where will I work?

SFPA will match its intern with an appropriate host organization. Previous fellows have worked at the Daily Caller, Reason Magazine, the Washington Examiner, and the Weekly Standard.

How long will it last?

The internship will run for about 14 weeks, beginning sometime in September. The specific start and end dates will be determined with the intern and media organization.

What will it pay?

SFPA will provide a stipend of $5,600.

Are there other benefits?

In addition to supplying the internship, SFPA will offer customized career advice and networking opportunities. This will include the assignment of a mentor, drawn from our pool of professional affiliates.

When is the deadline?

Applications must be received by June 30. (The winner will be notified by July 15.)
