Hard to imagine a more qualified applicant.

From The Telegraph:

Girl, 9, applies for Cambridge University’s Professor of Lego post

A super keen nine-year-old girl has applied for the role of Professor of Lego at Cambridge University – before the job was even advertised.

The youngster put herself forward citing her experience building Lego and offered her school teachers as her referees.

Unfortunately the research post – part of a £4m project studying the role of play in children’s education sponsored by Lego – has not yet been advertised.

The job ad is expected to be posted in the next few weeks.

The lucky candidate will be the head of their own research department at prestigious University of Cambridge.

Officials say the role is expected to be created within the Faculty of Education after the university received £4 million of donations from the Lego Foundation.
