2 millennials win primaries in Florida

A new generation moved one step closer to Washington on Tuesday when two millennials won their congressional primaries.

Republicans in Florida’s 1st Congressional District, comprising the state’s Panhandle, voted for Matt Gaetz, and Brian Mast won in the 18th district, encompassing Port St. Lucie and the surrounding areas. Both men were born in 1982.
