The Brooklyn-raised Ithaca College student killed in a senseless stabbing at Cornell University Sunday was a dedicated student intent on earning an MBA and buying his mom a “castle”, mourners at a campus vigil said Monday.
Classmates and faculty said slain student Anthony Nazaire, 19, relished his classes but also made time for extracurricular clubs including the National Association of Black Accountants, Brothers4Brothers and Core Trading Consultants, a student-run finance group that manages a mutual fund worth some $40,000.
“He was always about success and always about moving forward,” fellow Ithaca sophomore Steven Cox told the Daily News.
