The College Board confirmed the theft after Reuters reported Wednesday that it had received hundreds of confidential test items.

Unpublished SAT Exam Material Stolen, College Board Says

The College Board said unpublished SAT exam content had been stolen, calling the theft of the college entrance test material “a serious criminal matter” in a message sent Wednesday evening to member schools.

The New York-based non-profit and its testing partner, the Educational Testing Service, “are responding quickly and deliberately to investigate and resolve this matter,” the message said.
