Cornell Medical College Expands To Financial District
A needed medical addition to the area.
New York Post reports.
Cornell expands medical college to financial district
Although the Financial District is booming on the commercial and residential fronts, it’s lagged in one area — health care.
But help’s on the way.
At William Macklowe Co.’s 156 William St., Cornell University has added 55,000 square feet to 30,000 it already had for its Weill Cornell Medical College — nearly completing landlord Billy Macklowe’s aim to establish the first medical office building downtown.
The deal includes 41,000 square feet of offices plus 14,000 square feet of retail.

All on the taxpayer dime.
Congratulations New York taxpayers. You get to make up the loss of tax revenue with your money.
