Angelina Jolie to Teach Gender Studies at London School of Economics
If you’re studying economics, why would you need a gender studies class?
New York Mag reported.
Angelina Jolie Is a Gender-Studies Professor Now
In addition to being an actress, director, UNHCR special envoy, super-mom, menopause spokeswoman, and maker of an expressively fruit-forward rosé, Angelina Jolie is adding college professor to her résumé.
Starting in 2017, Jolie will serve as a visiting professor for a new master’s class on women, peace, and security at the London School of Economics, alongside former British foreign secretary William Hague.
“It is vital we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict,” said Jolie in a statement. “I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.”

Normally, a visiting professor must have a masters degree in order to teach. An acceptable alternative could be a bachelors degree with a resume full of relevant publications and experience. What academic chops does Jolie possess?
God, I always was in awe of her. But it wasn’t her brains that had me pumping. Now, I am in awe of her incompetence in her chosen new field. London School — what kind of place must this be?
