A 27-year-old man tried to grab a cop’s gun outside a Bronx college Tuesday night, as several passers-by stopped and gawked — but not help, cops said.
A school security guard who saw the men struggling rushed in to assist the officer in cuffing Ronald Santos, 24, on the sidewalk outside Monroe College in Fordham Manor, according to police.
The officer, whose name has not been released, was working a paid detail outside Monroe on Jerome Ave., near E. 190th St. at about 7:45 p.m., cops said
That’s when Santos walked up to him and attempted to pull his gun from his holster, cops said.
