Donald Trump: A wake-up call for millennials

Left-wing millennials may not think very highly of Republican front-runner Donald Trump, but the billionaire may be Gen Y’s last, best hope.

DePaul University student Nicole Been made the case that Trump’s rhetoric, which sensitive millennials view as attack on their P.C. culture, could help expand the Overton window and help members of her generation who are trying to fight social justice warriors.

By presenting the greatest opposition to political correctness, only Trump can save Gen Y from believing that sidewalk chalk on college campuses is more dangerous than Islamic terrorism or North Korea with nuclear weapons.

“Collegiate America is rapidly becoming a Bernie Sanders-infested wasteland that has no room for our First Amendment freedoms unless we are in line with the liberal doctrine of the modern Left,” Been wrote for LifeZette.

“Liberal millennials believe Trump supporters have no respect for human dignity,” she continued. “Despite their ever-changing gender pronouns, reverence for the baby-killing Planned Parenthood, and their pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic agenda against the state of Israel.”

Trump has refused to play by the rules set by the establishment, the left, and social justice warriors. His call to temporarily ban Muslim immigration to the United States made Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) position of extra scrutiny look moderate.
