Colleges with the Richest Students (Among Those Who Receive Aid)
For future college students across the country, a troubling trend has plagued American households for the past two decades — rising college tuition costs and declining median household income.
With this uninspiring bit of recent history in mind, StartClass wanted to find the colleges whose students are best-equipped to deal with these rising costs. Using fall 2015 data from College Scorecard, we found the schools where students have the highest family income.
For this list, we only included predominantly bachelor’s degree-granting colleges with at least 1,000 undergraduate students. College Scorecard uses data from the National Student Loan Data System.
