Vandals target Republican presidential candidate murals on DU campus
DENVER — Murals depicting Republican presidential candidates have been getting vandalized on the University of Denver campus.
The murals were created by the DU College Republicans. The vandalism started a few weeks ago, when a painting of presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was put up.
Someone wrote “fascist” under her face.
“They put ‘Vote Republican because the 1950s were so fun,’” said Caroline Murray, a member of the group.
The next week, a mural of Ohio Gov. John Kasich was put up. Soon after, someone turned his face into the face of a devil.
