Student Can’t Explain How to Pay for Entitlements College Protesters Are Demanding
This video is so painful to watch. An organizer of the #MillionStudentMarch is asked by Neil Cavuto of FOX Business who is going to pay for the free college and other perks these students are demanding.
Her whole argument is taking money from the rich and giving it to the government. If you want to know how the philosophy of Bernie Sanders is affecting Millennials, look no further.
Blake Seitz of the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Neil Cavuto Asks Student Protestor How U.S. Will Pay for Socialist Wish List
Fox Business host Neil Cavuto engaged a scholar in earnest Socratic dialogue Thursday.
Keely Mullen is a national organizer for #MillionStudentMarch, a movement that demands “tuition-free public college, cancellation of all student debt, and a $15 minimum wage for all campus workers” in response to the crisis caused by rapacious corporate education.
“#MillionStudentMarch is a movement for a more equitable and fair system of education as opposed to the really corporate model we have right now,” Mullen said.
Mullen is a graduate of the prestigious Francis W. Parker School and political science student at Northeastern University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Cavuto asked how this agenda would be financed.
“Great question, I mean, you know, so—I’m not sure if you’re talking about a national level or per school?” Mullen said.
When pressed, Mullen said that the top one percent of earners needed to pay tax rates upwards of 90 percent, a rate 10 percentage points higher than that proposed by socialist Thomas Piketty. Mullen said it was worth it.
“I live in a world and I see a system around me where there is a population that is doing nothing to contribute to the progression of society,” Mullen said, referring to the freeloaders at the top who pay more in taxes than the bottom 90 percent of earners combined.

Freeloaders of the world unite. What makes that idiot think that others are responsible for paying for things she can’t afford? Have colleges turned into high priced daycare centers for the Peter Pans of of their generation? What a low bar we have for considering someone educated these days. They can’t stand on their own 2 feet.
This video illustrates why universities are failing to educate the students. Clearly, she cannot add or understand basic economics. I do not know what she majored in, but it was probably sociology or womens studies. I guess the real question is how she got into college with an IQ as low as she has.
Well she certainly cannot do the math to see that someone doing a job that pays $1,000,000 a year is only going to end up with $100,000 to live his life sponging off those poor, victimised students.
One can only hope the regular Americans will be energized by crap like this & put a stop to this continual Socialist/Liberal insanity
So Mullen wants others to pay for college so people like her can “improve” themselves. (The sentiment that college in general improves society has been laid to rest by those at colleges who seek (and succeeded) in restricting freedoms too numerous to mention.)
But what about those who don’t go to college? What about those who want to attend a trade school? Don’t plumbers, welders, mechanics, etc help improve society as well?
If Mullen advocates people paying for the education of others, why isn’t she advocating that all people get the benefit of more education?
She won’t because the men and women who do dirty, greasy, unseen and thankless jobs aren’t “her type” so she doesn’t think or care about them.
Hope the next time her car needs fixing someone says “that’s $500 and hour rate ma’am because I need to pay for my education.”
