To commemorate the one year anniversary of the White House’s sexual assault preventive initiative, Joe Biden is heading out on a college campus speaking tour.

Biden goes back to college to promote ‘It’s on Us’

Over a year after the White House rolled out its sexual assault prevention initiative It’s on Us, Vice President Biden will commemorate the program’s launch with a three-college speaking tour, according to a White House press release issued Thursday.

Biden’s first stop will be the Annapolis Naval Academy on Nov. 9, where he’ll participate in a roundtable discussion about sexual assault prevention. The next day, he’ll speak at It’s on Us grassroots organizing events at both Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., and Morehouse College in Atlanta.

These events will take place during the It’s on Us national week of action from Nov. 9 to Nov. 14, during which college campuses are encouraged to promote discourse around consent and sex-positive behavior.
