VIDEO: Millennials can’t distinguish Democrats, socialists
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was at a loss for words late last month when asked for the difference between a Democrat and socialist during an interview on MSNBC’s Hardball.
At first the Florida Representative laughed and brushed the question off. “You’re Chairman of the Democratic Party,” host Chris Matthews pressed Wasserman Schultz. “Tell me the difference between you and a socialist.”
Instead of answering, Wasserman Schultz responded to a completely different question.
“The relevant debate that we’ll be having over the course of this campaign is what’s the difference between a Democrat and a Republican,” she said. “The difference between a Democrat and Republican is that Democrats fight to make sure that everybody has an opportunity to succeed and the Republicans are strangled by their right-wing extremists.”

Exactly the reason I left the party who left me….. the other question, what’s the difference btw a dem & communist or a dem & issis?
“Ummm.” Pretty funny.
Personally, I don’t think the problem is that none of these people (especially Schultz) can tell you the difference (not that I’m claiming there is a difference), but that they don’t even consider the question relevant. They don’t think about the premises, or the consequences, of their political positions. They only think about getting political power so they can force people to do what they feel they should be doing. The don’t think about it, they only feel about it. They’re intellectual children, incapable of thinking past their own noses.
