The makers of this video re apparently angry over recent cuts at the university as well as some of the extravagant expenses.

It’s a little crude but kind of funny at the same time.

University of Akron target of scathing YouTube parody

The University of Akron’s financial problems are now the target of a scathing YouTube parody.

The six-minute video — which features President Scott Scarborough and others as brown paper bags with googly eyes and construction paper as clothing — pokes fun of the school for its recent financial cuts and hefty administrative salaries.

It was posted Thursday by the group Graduates Over Greed. The video follows a fictional “super top secret meeting” of the board of trustees.
