Students for Life Launches #WomenBetrayed National Rallies to Defund Planned Parenthood

National pro-life group Students for Life of America (SFLA) and its partner organization Pro-Life Future are launching an initiative called #WomenBetrayed which urges citizens across the country to host rallies on Tuesday, July 28, to demand their states investigate, prosecute and defund Planned Parenthood.

In response to the video released this week about Planned Parenthood’s involvement in selling the organs and body parts of babies aborted in their clinics, SFLA – the largest pro-life organization of millennials in the nation – will be moving ahead against the abortion giant’s claim it is helping women by providing them with “healthcare.”

According to SFLA:

The abortion giant claims they care about women but they don’t – just look at their actions. Planned Parenthood gets over $500 million a year in our taxpayer money and makes more than $100 million in profit, all while having abortion quotas. The organization has been caught covering up statutory rape, double-billing taxpayers, aiding and abetting sex traffickers, scheduling sex-selective abortions and accepting money to abort African American children.

Women have been betrayed by Planned Parenthood. Families have been deceived. And the smallest among us have been the ultimate victims of Planned Parenthood’s horrific business schemes. Quite frankly, we’ve had enough. It’s time to relieve Planned Parenthood of our taxpayer dollars.
