Charge: Man disguised as woman peeped on students at Bellevue College ladies room

A Sammamish man accused of disguising himself as a woman to peep on students using a Bellevue College ladies room has been charged with voyeurism.

King County prosecutors claim Robert Whitehead recorded at least three young women as they used the restroom. Whitehead, 39, is also alleged to have peeped on a bank worker.

Bellevue police began their investigation on Jan. 8, when a security officer at Bellevue College detained Whitehead as he attempted to leave the college parking garage. Moments before, three women had reported that Whitehead recorded them.

According to charging papers, the three women had taken turns using the toilet. Whitehead, they told police, had positioned himself in the neighboring stall.
