New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi addresses Rutgers-Camden graduates with new song

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has a new song of graduation advice.

He broke it out Thursday while giving a commencement address for Rutgers University’s Camden campus.

In verse, he told the graduates in a song called “Reunion,” ”This isn’t how the story ends, my friends, it’s just a fork along the road.”

The ceremony was held at the Susquehanna Bank Center where Bon Jovi’s band has previously performed.

The New Jersey native was awarded an honorary doctorate of letters recognizing his entertainment career and a history of philanthropy focused on homelessness and poverty.

He also told the graduates to map out their futures in pencil, not pen.

Another honorary degree went to Equal Justice Initiative founder Bryan Stevenson.
