Iowa Federation of College Republicans Elect All-Female Executive Board
So, where exactly is this Republican War on Women?
The Iowa Republican reports.
College Republicans Elect a New All-Female Executive Board
The Iowa Federation of College Republicans elected a new all-female executive board on Saturday, marking the first time ever in Iowa College Republican history.
As of April 11, 2015 the new executive board is as follows: Michelle Aberle, Chairman; Jada Holst, Vice-Chairman; Ciera Gust, Secretary; and Janelle Smithson, Treasurer.
“In Iowa, it has always been Republicans breaking glass ceilings,” said Michelle Aberle, the newly elected Chair of the Iowa Federation of College Republicans. In 2014 we elected the first ever woman senator, our lieutenant governor is a woman, and our state treasurer is also a woman. We are all Republicans because we know there is only one party that fights for a small, yet effective government that will help restart our economy and keep us safe from threats both foreign and domestic. I’m proud that, for the first time ever in Iowa history, our executive board is all female, and it only further highlights the failed tactics of the Democratic Party and their claim of the Republican Party’s “war against women”.
