Sorry, the party’s over.

College party busted by York police, 173 cited

Four York College students were charged with giving alcohol to minors, and 173 other people — mostly college students — were cited for patronizing a speakeasy, after York City Police used a search warrant to bust a large, all-day party Saturday on West Jackson Street.

York City Police Lt. Erik Kleynen said 45 of the 173 people were also cited for underage drinking, bringing the total number of citations to 218.

Four criminal misdemeanor charges were filed against students James Moffett, Paul Fiorelli, Brendan Costello and Vincent Kurp, police said.

York College spokeswoman Mary Dolheimer confirmed those students attend the college, adding that the college has records for Moffett, not Moffitt as York City Police spelled his name in a news release Tuesday. All four live in the 200 block of West Jackson Street, Dolheimer said.
