Northeastern University Defaced With Swastikas — Again
About that whole anti-semitism on college campuses thing…
Raffaela Kenny-Cincotta reports for the Boston Globe:
Swastikas found at Northeastern University
For the second time in the past four months, swastikas were discovered scrawled at Northeastern University early Sunday morning, according to a letter sent to students by university President Joseph E. Aoun.
A resident assistant found the Nazi symbol at approximately 1:30 a.m. drawn on a white board in a student common area of the university’s International Village dormitory.
Northeastern Police are actively investigating the incident, according to Aoun’s letter.
“I condemn this hateful act of anti-Semitism in the strongest possible terms,” Aoun wrote. “These actions are completely antithetical to the values of our university and all that we stand for.”
Last November, Northeastern dealt with a similar incident when swastikas were drawn on two fliers publicizing a lecture by an Israeli military official.
