$10K Veterans Grant Announced NH’s Higher Education Institutions
CONCORD, N.H. – A $10,000 veterans grant was announced for New Hampshire’s higher education institutions. The New Hampshire Legislative Commission on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) partnered with LTC Partners for the grant.
A press release says the grant will help support the state’s military population with innovative and inclusive proposals to enhance and support the educational and campus experience of veterans. The Military or Veterans Impacting New Generations (MOVING) will award three grants, one for $5,000; and two for $2,500 each.
“These grants represent the impact that New Hampshire’s institutions of higher education have on our State’s veterans, service members and their families,” said Jo Moncher, Bureau Chief of Military Programs for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and Chair of the Commission on PTSD and TBI. “The Commission is honored to partner with LTC Partners on this important initiative and look forward to working with New Hampshire’s institutions of higher education as we develop new programs to serve our State’s military.”
