Ohio U. Students Petition to Ban Fraternity Based on Anonymous Social Media
That sounds like solid evidence that would totally hold up in a court of law to me!
Dave Huber at The college Fix has the story:
Ohio University students: Ban frat based on anonymous social media
Hmm. The university where a senior journalism major wants to ban anonymous social media like Yik Yak now faces calls from students to use that very platform as evidence … to ban a fraternity.
A petition on Change.org is asking Ohio University to oust the Acacia fraternity based on anonymous accusations that the frat “drugged and raped women at an off-campus house.”
The Washington Examiner reports:
Known on campus as the “Blue House,” the petition claims such accusations are not uncommon or new.
“There have been many accusations on Yik Yak throughout this past year that these men drug and rape women,” the petition says. “There are yaks that serve as warnings for women to stay away and not drink the punch.”

If I were into drugging and raping girls,a fraternity with a campus monopoly on serving alcohol to naive young women would be an excellent place for me to hang out. Predators go where the prey is. As conservatives,we need to be more sensible about how we report stories like this. This raping of girls may actually be happening. It would not be the first case. If so, it is outrageous and criminal and setting up a petition drive is a pretty low-octane response. As law and order types, we should be demanding a legitimate legal investigation by local law enforcement, not sneering at those making the allegation just because they happen to attend a moon-bat school. If their allegations are nonsense, let the record show that. If not, then we will be doing the Right thing in sending the perps at the Blue House to the Big House where they belong.
