Video: Texas Tech Students Don’t Know Who Won the American Civil War
This will make you want to tear your hair out.
Not only do almost all of these students know nothing about the American Civil War, they also have no idea who is currently the Vice President of the United States.
How can you even get into college without knowing these things?

Proof that one can make a student sit in a class, but no one can make them learn. At some point being clueless will work against them. News flask for colleges: want students to graduate actually knowing something, then only admit students who have an interest in learning.
To be fair, even Joe Biden is unclear on who is the Vice President of the United States.
Also, since they are in Texas, the right answer to the winning independence question is Mexico.
Sort of horrifying, but, hey! Where else can you take a trip down the aptly named “Lazy river” between classes!

The good news:
1.All the kids seem to be nice people.
2. The black students did not give a “black” answer. They had not been programmed.
The bad news:
1. These kids graduated high school and got into college without even knowing the year 1776 and the US independence from England.
2. The black students were as clueless as the white students and they all knew the same celebrity knowledge.
(I guess that’s “equality”.)
