Student Group at U. Minnesota Demands Mandatory Transgender Classes
Oh and also, colonialism or something.
When it comes to mandatory courses, perhaps we should focus on more basic skills first.
Eric Owens of the Daily Caller has the story.
Minnesota Radicals Demand Mandatory Transgender Classes Because Of Colonialism OR ELSE
Members of a radical leftist group at the University of Minnesota have demanded that the school confess that it “exists as a product of” colonial evil and must therefore “fundamentally” restructure to conform to their organizing principles.
The group – which calls itself “Whose Diversity?” – has chosen to remain unrecognized by the administration, it says, to avoid becoming “complicit in reproducing a homogenized notion of diversity.”
The comically lengthy list of demands is over 1,000 words longer than the Declaration of Independence.
The leftist group opposes “color-blind racism” and demands “an acknowledgement that the university exists as a product of colonialistic processes,” according to Campus Reform.
The underground group also wants the taxpayer-funded school in the Twin Cities to require that every student, regardless of major, take a class covering “gender non-conforming issues.” Members want “substantially more” courses about “marginalized peoples,” too.

Expel these idiots. They are not at university to get a degree. There are just there to use the university as a means for radical and useless social transformation. Why should less than 1% of the population be given such prominence? Why must the values of the majority be undermined to pander to a bunch of crazies belonging to the minority? Education must have some practical utility; there’s none in this nonsense.
The University of Minnesota was founded in 1851 and at that time the State of Minnesota consisted of land ceded by England in the Second Treaty of Paris, and land sold by France in the Louisiana Purchase. To the extent that the university exists as a product of “colonial evil,” it is French and British colonial evil they are complaining about, and they need to take their concerns to London and Paris.
Are we sure this isn’t someone cleverly trolling the Leftists? This sounds a little too good to be true. If it a actually is true , it has about the same comedy value as the pompously self-important leftist revolutionary from the Tropico game series who constantly refers to himself in the 3rd person as “Marco Moreno, Flame of La Revolution.” While dangerous if taken seriously, they are merely self-deluded buffoons if properly openly mocked for their hysterical screeching.
