Should a pop culture giant like MTV be celebrating and even normalizing hook-ups? Isn’t there anything better for college related entertainment?

The College Fix reports.

New MTV-backed Show Will Celebrate ‘Walk of Shame’

A new reality show produced by MTV-owned network, VH1, will attempt to make entertainment out of one-night stands among college students and young adults. USA TODAY College reports:

During her senior year at the University of Michigan, Kellyann Wargo, 23, defined a “walk of shame” as a business opportunity.

After repeatedly picking up her friends on Saturday mornings after they spent the night at a guy’s house, Wargo had an idea: create a Walk of Shame Shuttle, a “morning-after” transportation service for college students wanting to get home from wherever they found themselves greeting the sun on Friday through Sunday mornings…

BG Media president and producer, began working with Wargo a year ago to produce a promo for a show based on her business. Wargo took the shuttle to the streets of Los Angeles, her car hooked up with cameras to record the one-night stand stories of passengers, both male and female.

Four networks jumped at the show when BG Media pitched it this fall, and last week, VH1 announced they have greenlit Walk of Shame Shuttle, an unscripted series starring Wargo and her business, set to premiere this summer.

By far, the worst, and most disgusting aspect of this show is this little tidbit:

In 2012, Wargo created a flier for her $5 shuttle service, advertising that the price gets passengers a ride to anywhere in Ann Arbor, a $5 off Plan B coupon and a “complimentary high-five.”
