Syracuse University Marching Band to Play Super Bowl
If you’re a member of marching band in college, it doesn’t get much better than this. Congrats to Syracuse.

Syracuse University marching band set to perform at the Super Bowl
“New York’s college band” will perform at New York’s Super Bowl.
A release from the National Football League today says the Syracuse University marching band will perform prior to Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium.
Syracuse will join the Rutgers marching band on the field and will perform at approximately 6 p.m. on Feb. 2.
Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m.
The release from the NFL states: “The 200-member Syracuse University Marching Band performs for all home football games in SU’s Carrier Dome and is the flagship college band in the state of New York. It also serves as an ambassador, representing the University at major events both on and off campus.”
The official twitter feed for the SU Marching band offered this after the news was announced by the NFL.
