Scientists at U. Hawaii create glow in the dark rabbits
Finally.
Ted Malave of KFOR TV reports.
University of Hawaii researchers create glow-in-the-dark rabbits
University of Hawaii research doctors, in conjunction with staff at a university in Turkey, have found a way to make rabbits glow in the dark.
The research will hopefully have greater applications than just being something odd to look at. The doctors working on the project say it could have benefits to humans in the future.
“What you can do is you get the DNA with the gene that you’re lacking and you can insert it into your body and fix it,” explains Dr. Joel Mahr.
Here’s a video that actually shows bunnies that glow.

IIRC, someone painted some jack rabbits with glow in the dark paint and released them around Hanford about 25 years ago.
That raised all sort of, uhm, “interest”.
