Prager U. — Why America’s Military Must Be Strong
What is the greatest peacekeeping force the world has ever known?
Few people realize that the true bulwark against a global descent into conflict is the United States military.
In this week’s video, “Why America’s Military Must Be Strong,” Dr. Andrew Roberts, eminent British historian and author, presents a powerful overview of how the United States has saved the world from three serious threats in the last hundred years: Prussian Fascism, Nazism, and Communism. Since 2001 it has been battling our current threat: Islamism.
“A militarily strong America is the one, indispensable prerequisite for a peaceful and prosperous world,” says Roberts in the Prager University “Political Science” offering.
Roberts is a noted author. His, “A History of the English-Speaking Peoples Since 1900“ is a critically acclaimed sequel to the four volume work of Churchill and won the Intercollegiate Studies Institute Book Award. Masters and Commanders describes how four titanic figures shaped the grand strategy of the West during the Second World War.
A discussion of his “History of the English-Speaking Peoples” is also available on video:

What a wonderful fairytale. Be good, or the Americans will kill you.
Well, it’s at least partly correct.
