ASU Student — Marijuana Day should be renamed Death in Mexico Day
Ah, Saturday was April 20 again, Marijuana Day.
I’d like to say nothing ticks me off more than a lazy hippie lost drifting between clouds. But the degradation of culture always seems to out do itself lately.
To every person smoking marijuana on 4:20 or any other day I have this to say, YOU DIRECTLY are responsible for the deaths of thousands in Mexico. I don’t care to delineate exactly how accurate that statement is or go into politics. The fact is if demand disappeared, so would supply.
You are responsible for Mexico’s disorder and its consequential economic failure. Further you’re responsible the mass migration to the U.S.A. causing more deaths in desert and the difficulties that follow. YOU ARE the driver of the black market organizations that traffic illegal weapons, hardcore drugs, and women.
If you live in the South West and smoke marijuana, may God almighty have mercy on your soul. If you choose to be ignorant of the war and atrocities that have been happening in our neighbors’ home for YEARS shame. Dark shame.
For any excuse or justification there is only one necessary answer. YOUR money is going to criminal organizations that are executing hundreds Police and thousands of innocents.YOURS, YOUR MONEY. To ignore the truth that you are funding murder and the destruction of a country is a moral travesty of the highest order.
How about you don’t puff puff pass the buck. I dub April 20th Save a Mexican Day.
