Pete Hegseth points out on National Review Online (text here, pointing to video clip here) that at a campaign rally on Nov. 4 former president Clinton said:

One of the things the decider-in-chief has to do is decide whether he’s going to bring this country together across all its diversity or let it drift apart. Look at how much stronger the American military is because it is less racist, less sexist and less homophobic and we’re just looking for people who can do the job.

If we’re all supposed to eschew consideration of race, sex, and sexual persuasion and emulate the military by “just looking for people who can do the job,” why do Clinton, Obama, and the Democratic Party from top to bottom so vehemently oppose all attempts to prohibit discrimination based on race, sex, or ethnicity by employers and college admissions officials?

I think I know the answer: hypocrisy.
