College Debt Climbs to Almost $27,000 Per Student
Like the rest of their fellow Americans, college students can’t afford four more years of Obama.You simply can’t emerge from college tens of thousands of dollars in debt with no job prospects.

A new study from the Institute for College Access & Success’ Project on Student Debt shows that average graduating student debt climbed by 5% in 2011 to nearly $27,000.
As CNN reports, high debt levels have combined with high unemployment to form the perfect storm for young grads:
The increase comes at a time when unemployment has remained stubbornly high for college graduates – it was at 8.8% for 2011. Those without a college degree are more than twice as likely to end up without jobs, however. The unemployment rate for recent high school graduates was 19.1% last year.
